Support

The project “History lessons” is being realized by International Memorial with the support Erinnerung. Verantwortung. Zukunft Foundation and is part of the international program of the fund “Learning from history”. The German and Polish educational websites already exist and are a success (http://www.lernen-aus-der-geschichte.de and http://www.uczyc-sie-z-historii.pl. Information about these projects in Russian is presented on our portal

Russian portal “Learning from history”:

  • Is a consulting and methodical resource for the organization of projects and researches of teachers, tutors and high school students (methodical material on how to organize research activities has already been published on this website; and it will be constantly updated)
  • Integrates Russian, German and Polish experience in the field of studying Soviet and European history of the XX century
  • Is a place for intellectual discussion, oriented to stimulate independent history studies of youth, realization of complex historical moments, study of historical resources (apart from original articles, we publish materials of important conferences and debates); the readers are also invited to take part in discussions and debates in Round tables organized by “Learning from history”, as well as to leave comments to the materials on the webpage
  • Presents the most successful and useful examples of research projects in Russia (materials from school competition “XX century Russia. Human in history”), Germany and Poland (translations of the most interesting school researches, supplied to us from our partners from projects http://www.lernen-aus-der-geschichte.de и http://www.uczyc-sie-z-historii.pl);
  • Grant Russian teachers, professors, tutors and students a possibility to acquaint with foreign experience of teaching and researching activity; apart from publishing unique thematic articles. In sections Projects and Competitions we announce competitions of topical interest to the researchers of history of Russia and Europe).

  • History teachers – especially for them we publish methodical materials of current interest, articles of leading historians, reviews on books, films and media which will help provide students with original research possibilities
